Riihimaki Rally 2026

The Finnish Rally Championship returns to Riihimäki in February 2026! After a one-year break, the final winter round of the Finnish Rally Championship season will be held on 27–28 February 2026 in Riihimäki and the surrounding municipalities. This will be the 46th Riihimäki Rally, one of the most traditional events in Finnish rallying. The rally features 9 special stages. The compact route runs not only in Riihimäki but also through Loppi, Hausjärvi, Janakkala, and partly the Hämeenlinna area. The itinerary includes never-before-used road sections as well as long-absent classics. The entire route fits within approximately a 20 km radius of Riihimäki, with just over 100 km of special stages in total. In addition, the Messupuisto spectator special stage on Tehtaankatu brings the rally into the city center, offering excellent transport connections and an easily accessible experience for all rally fans. The spectator stage is run in the immediate vicinity of the Finnish Glass Museum, continuing Riihimäki’s long-standing glass and rally heritage. A major new feature for 2026: the rally can also be contested in a shortened and more affordable version, lowering the barrier to entry and attracting more competitors.
